Warren (known around 2nd Swing as WB), has been in the golf industry for decades. From his early days at Kokesh Athletic up to now working for 2nd Swing, he has seen how golf has changed over the years. Warren has put in the time and effort as a golf instructor for all levels of golf. He began serving as an instructor for juniors and then transitioned into developing lesson programs for various Park and Recreation departments, helping golfers of all ages. He has taken his expertise to the fitting bay, serving golfers at 2nd Swing Minneapolis with fitting certifications from PING, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, and Cobra.
Tyler Fitzel

Tyler has assembled a versatile resume in the golf industry as a competitor, advisor, coach, and club fitter. He has spent over a decade volunteering with the Minnesota Golf Association and the Minnesota Public Golf Association. Additionally, Tyler has spent over 15 years as an educator while coaching multiple sports, including golf. He’s also a successful competitor, frequently participating in amateur events on the local, state, and national level. Tyler continues to build his extensive fitting resume, which already includes certifications from all major manufacturers including PING, Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, and Cobra.
Dean Goodwin

Dean has a diverse set of experiences in the world of golf that amounts to over 10 years in the golf industry. He started as an intern at Tagalong golf course before becoming the assistant pro at Izatys Resort. He has also been a teacher with the John Means School of Golf since 2012, teaching juniors and adults. He most recently was St. Kate’s assistant golf coach, helping lead them to two straight conference championships. He has fitting certifications in all the major brands, including PING, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno, Bettinardi, and Trackman.
TJ Hallfin

- Began his experience in golf as a caddie at the age of 13
Golf has been a key component of TJ’s life for many years, and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. After attending The Golf Academy of America in Orlando, he moved back to his hometown and has found his favorite position as a certified master fitter at 2nd Swing’s Minneapolis location, where he is an essential member of team providing award-winning knowledge and insights to golfers. He has earned club fitting certifications from several major brands, including PING, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, and Trackman.
Jacob Montgomery
- Green grass junior golf instructor
acob started his career on the green grass side of the industry working both in a pro shop setting and also serving as a junior golf instructor. After graduating from Minnesota State (Mankato), Jacob joined 2nd Swing and has since become a certified master fitter, with certifications from PING, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, and Trackman. His passion for the game and continuous desire to learn from each unique fitting has made him a key asset to the fitting team at 2nd Swing Minneapolis.
Andrew Plunkett
- Became member of PGA Great Britain and Ireland in 2014

Andrew joined 2nd Swing at the end of 2019 as a master club fitter, bringing top-notch golf expertise with him. He became a member of PGA Great Britain and Ireland in 2014 and has served as an Assistant PGA Professional. Additionally, Andrew has coached a junior golf team to the finals of the Irish Club Junior Championship. Plus, Andrew himself has competed on the PGA Circuit in Ireland. He is certified by several major manufacturers, including Callaway, Titleist, Mizuno, Cobra, TaylorMade, and Trackman (Level 2).
James Seidel
- Former Assistant Professional at Lakeview National Golf Course
James has already cast a wide net in the golf industry. He started at Lakeview National Golf Course in Northern Minnesota as an Assistant Pro. He then transitioned to 2nd Swing in 2019, where he has fulfilled several different roles, most recently becoming a master fitter. He is certified by all of the major manufacturers (PING, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, Trackman) and uses his experience to educate golfers and help them select the right equipment for their unique swings.
Michael Sogard

Michael is a fresh, young face to the fitting world with extensive knowledge of the modern game of golf. Having taken up the game at a very young age and growing up surrounded by great minds within the industry, he has a strong drive to give people the best experience possible and make the game more enjoyable for all. A highly-successful competitive player and a youth instructor, Michael’s approach has been extremely successful in his fitting tenure.
